🌄 Lightweight Portable Pet Fencing— RV Life Travel Hack We built a lightweight fencing setup that hangs directly on the RV ladder using Camco chair & bike rack hooks — no drilling, no ground stakes, and no permanent hardware. This setup is mainly for the safety of our dogs, but it also creates a really great space to hang out outside or sit by the fire with friends. ✨ What we used (linked list) • Lightweight fencing panels • Fasteners to connect multiple panels • Camco chair & bike rack hooks (designed to hold 100 pounds per pair on RV ladders!!) • Solar lights — our favorite part ✨ adds visibility, safety, and cozy nighttime glow 🛠️ How it’s set up 1️⃣ Mount the Camco rack onto the RV ladder 2️⃣ Connect panels to create the size you want (we used more than one set for a bigger area, but that’s totally optional) 3️⃣ Use Velcro straps to keep panels together while lifting and hanging 4️⃣ Hang panels from the hooks — lightweight but stable 5️⃣ Add solar lights for evenings around the fire 🌙🔥 🚐 Travel days We secure everything with tie-down straps on the hooks so it stays put while driving. 🔧 Chris also built simple support feet for uneven ground and an auto-closing gate using a full panel — those aren’t in the linked list, but if you’re curious about that part, just ask. 👉 Want the list of products used?
