It’s embarrassing to say but my white partner sometimes notices racism before I do. I’m not oblivious, but I can only see the world through my own eyes. He sees the differences between how people treat him when he’s alone vs how they treat me when we’re together.

Another point I want to add is white men tend to be the leaders in their communities, while black women tend to be the leaders in their community. This strengthens compatibility, as they know the roles they are expected to play. Kind of like eldest son/eldest daughter relationships.
