You do realize that only Paul ever used the term antichrist in his letters of 1st & 2nd John. He also said that "many antichrists" had already appeared in his time, emphasizing a deceptive spirit rather than just one future figure. Many connect the apocalyptic "beast" of Revelation 13 with the antichrist, but the book uses titles like "the beast" or "the false prophet" rather than "antichrist". Even that is debated by biblical scholars and theologians if it’s referring to Emperor Nero, a Pope or a future person. At the end of every thing we have to remember that the book of Revelation was a vision filled with symbolism and much of its prophecy was fulfilled in 70 AD. What we really need to focus on is what Jesus Christ told us to do in Matthew 22:37-39 “37 He said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the greatest and first commandment. 39 And a second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’” Focus on that and Jesus will take care of the rest.
