The battery needs to be secure otherwise you can get an advisory or potentially a fail on an MOT. The brackets are probably in the under tray. If you can take it off or loosen the tray you’ll probably find them.

The battery must be secured in case of an accident. May even be a legal requirement, not sure

Keep starting it and shutting of constantly the new battery could drain asw bro let it run for awhile as u said it’s been sat for a while give it a good drive too goodluck broo👍👊👊
