No, that’s not right because sorcerers are leaking next to no cursed energy (what cursed spirits are made of) so they aren’t contributing to it, regular people are because they can’t control their cursed energy so when mad or upset they leak a lot creating curses, Gojo changed the balance of the world so much that when cursed spirits were born they had to evolve to a higher level (think of geto’s solution to cursed spirits but with cursed spirits instead of humans.) that’s as simply as I can explain it

The misconception here is that curses would weaken that much if sorcerers die. The universe increases the power of curses when satoru is born to maintain balance in the world. It is more of an “co-evolutionary” thing where 2 species get stronger simultaneously due to their symbiosis with one another. If sorcerers die, curses weaken but not to the extent to make them weak, just weaker. Lack of sorcerers shifts the narrative as well, curses have more contact with humans creating more fear and negative emotion. This creates a feedback loop which gradually makes curses more powerful. The lack of sorcerers also causes more vengeful spirits to be formed (curses killd with no cursed energy) which are inherently stronger than casual curses

the problem with this is that it's not why gojos birth shifted the balance, curses will always exist so long as cursed energy exists, and as long as humans have negative emotions, there will be cursed energy. gojo being born shifted the balance of the world because the six eyes limitless user is ALWAYS born to help tengen merge with the star plasma vessel, curses are stronger because the barrier is weaker, so if there were no sorcerers, there would just be disaster level curses roaming unchecked

Gojo is just literally that auraful, Curses and Sorcerers have less links beacuse a Sorcerer cannot create a Curse (unless they're killed with no Jujutsu).

Nope, theres too much ambient cursed energy in the normal human population for curses to no longer form if sorcerers are eradicated, inversely when curses exist a sorcerer will be fated to balance out the scales within both their own and the curses lifetime, cursed energy and jujutsu works in yin and yang, theres no greater without lesser etc etc yada yada

everyone has cursed energy. sorcerer's are the only people that can use that cursed energy in an offensive manner. it's like the difference between a gass leak and a container of grass with an explicit channel for the grass to flow.
