I've been scrolling and not a single video I've seen explains how she does things. im convinced she can see and hear, but its impaired. she's not completely blind or deaf. deaf people don't speak this clear if they've never heard spoken language and I saw a video where ahe was using a computer. deafblind is a bit of a stretch. visually and hearing impairment is more honest.

I genuinely have questions, how do you communicate or assess patients if you’re dead and blind

I hate to ask but I feel like I have to, how does this work exactly? Don't get me wrong, this is beyond admirable and i'm not hating, but how do you operate? Do you operate? Sight seems like a crucial sense in this field

Honestly seeing a disabled doctor would be really reassuring as a disabled person

My understanding is that deafness and blindness is not black and white - it’s a spectrum. And those who may be registered blind, may still have some sight

People in these comments need to figure out which things are appropriate for your outside voice. Sorry you're having to read this nonsense. Congratulations on your impending graduation!

Fair play to you, but not sure how I’d feel about having a dead/blind doctor. How are you supposed to assess your patients properly?
