Just to add some context, I worked in law for several years, I’m law-graduated, and I did experience the corporate world. When I was working in corporate, I came home every day feeling depressed and mentally exhausted.. it was honestly horrible for my mental health. I was never treated as badly as I was in that field. Today, I’m happier, calmer, and mentally at peace. This choice works for me. I fully understand that it’s not for everyone, and that’s okay, this is simply my personal experience. I’m also very well paid. I moved to Switzerland and I earn more as a barista than I did working in law. I work in a specialty coffee shop, have great customers, and zero toxic management. Success and happiness don’t look the same for everyone 🤍 So please don’t hate on someone who’s just sharing their personal experience, do what makes you happy <3

Had this job when I was fresh out of uni. You don't make enough money, a lot of customers are not nice and you develop back pains from standing all day. Hospitality is not better than corporate unfortunatelly.
