@whipsnadezoo: Meet a very precious baby boy… 🙌 🧡 François’ langurs are one of the most endangered primates in the world, with just around 2000 remaining in the wild. This baby boy will be an important addition to their international breeding programme and an exciting boost for their species. Native to China and northern Vietnam, François langur babies are thought to be born orange to help the whole troop keep an eye on them. By working together to raise infants these monkeys develop deep social bonds. Through ZSL we’re working in Southeast Asia to end the illegal wildlife trade, which is one of the biggest threats to their species. By supporting us and becoming a member, you will be making a small difference in helping save Francois’ Langurs from extinction.
