I can tell you I’m going through that same run around issue with Kia refusing to pay for a cracked dash bezel caused by heat stress on cheap material. It starts with the dealership telling you that it was caused by outside sources so it won’t be covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, now I’m being given the run around for something called a goodwill warranty 🤷🏽♂️I’m just going to go ahead and trade mines in, god forbid a mechanical failure occurs under they’re “warranty” I’d really be screwed then.

yeah I'm sorry to say Kia doesn't have a very good reputation for making very good quality vehicles

Kia is trash, they did this rebranding a few years ago to try and save the image, just a fancy looking trash can.

I couldn’t tell from your pic and no experience with Kia but that sounds 100% their issue. They are trying to blame it on you. That they offered a complementary credit makes me even more suspicious.
