I worked for the first few years of my kids lives then was blessed with the opportunity to stay home and homeschool them. I didn’t necessarily enjoy homeschooling but I would never trade the fact that I got to spend all day every day with my kids. My oldest 2 are out of school but my youngest is in 2nd grade. Now I’m a teacher at a private school, which means I have a more kid friendly schedule but I need to work for the income at the cost of the time with him. It makes me so sad.

Going back to work after seven years of raising my daughter. My schedule popped up right after planning a fun, simple Valentine's Day for our family and my first day is Valentine's Day. It's such a small thing, but it makes me cry. I am immediately missing out on making memories.

I worked thru most of my son’s lives. I climbed the corporate ladder but still made cookies, cupcakes, projects until 3 am and volunteered when I could then work weekends if I had to. Did I handle it it well? Yes BUT I was burning the candle at both ends. At 40 I ended up in the hospital because we thought I was having a stroke. Turned out to be stress related episode but they sat my ass down on that bed for 3 whole days. After that my husband begged me to move to the country side and stay home. We did just that and the lives of my entire family improved greatly. I take care of the family now. My husband takes care of us too. We are happy.

I am n my mid 30’s trying to start a family. I have down the thing- went to college, been working, but I am now finding myself tired and not wanting to work at all. I want to stay home, clean, bake, raise kids, go to the gym, and do all the home duties. 😭
