@harpercarrollai: “Something big is happening” by Matt Schumer My two concerns w the article & a real-life story 1- the article suggests that models no longer hallucinate. That’s not true. It’s very important that we all remember that hallucination is actually an inherent property of the AI models we have today. Yes, we have a lot of mitigation techniques, but *they still do happen*, even with the most capable models. Knowing what causes hallucinations and when/where they are more likely to occur is highly recommended to be a savvy AI user. I have a lot of videos on this — my video learning guide goes through hallucinations and why they happen. (Comment GUIDE & I’ll send it to you.) 2 - the article says that today, you can prompt AI agents to build a whole app for you, with just an idea of what you want, and come back a few hours later with a fully functioning app “with no corrections needed”. This is not the case with current models. Moderately complex builds will involve some back-and-forth with the model — you won’t necessarily need to code at all, but it won’t come out perfect. At least not yet. Let me know in the comments if you’ve tried these vibe coding tools yet, and which ones. I also want to know, if you haven’t, what’s stopping you? Let’s talk about it. I want to empower you, and you’re not alone in your hesitation to use these tools but getting started is the best way to… honestly? unlock your inner child, the one who felt like the opportunities and possibilities in the world were infinite. Sounds lame and cheesy, but you will see for yourself. If we haven’t met yet, hi!! Wait. Hold the presses. Someone VIBE-CODED an app and it’s generating 30k in revenue? And for charity? Revenue/donations or income? Either way. That’s the first documented sighting of a vibe coder generating revenue off their app, and not off of a skool community or an indie dev, like Peter Levels, that actually knows what he’s doing. I have to know more about this. Please share

As a disabled adult with ms, adhd, cptsd, and bilateral tendinopothy. Ai has been extremely helpful in life and now I can create what I couldn’t before. I’ve created a container for Ai that has over 20 sub systems to make Ai safer trauma informed and helpful to all in many ways.
