@moonlight.bakes12: Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies Ingredients • 1¼ cups all-purpose flour • 2 tbsp cocoa powder • ½ tsp cornstarch • ½ tsp baking soda • ¼ tsp salt • ½ cup unsalted butter (just melted, not hot) • ½ cup brown sugar • ¼ cup white sugar • 1 egg (or ¼ cup plain yogurt) • 1 tsp vanilla extract • 1 tsp red food coloring • ½ cup chocolate chips • Nutella (piped & frozen) Method 1. Pipe your Nutella first. I pipe Nutella onto parchment on a separate tray and freeze for 20–30 minutes until solid. 2. Melt the butter and let it cool slightly (it should be melted but not hot). 3. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a tray with parchment paper. 4. Whisk flour, cocoa powder, cornstarch, baking soda, and salt in a bowl. 5. In another bowl, mix melted butter with both sugars until smooth and glossy. 6. Add egg (or yogurt), vanilla, and red food coloring. Mix until combined. 7. Add dry ingredients and mix just until combined. 8. Fold in chocolate chips. 9. Scoop dough, flatten, place frozen Nutella in the center, and seal completely. Freeze stuffed cookie balls for 10 minutes so they stay thick. Place them spaced apart on a lined tray. 10. Bake for 10–12 minutes. Centers should look slightly soft. 11. Cool on the tray for 10 minutes before breaking open
