As adult children, my Mother was still trying to triangulate us for YEARS!! So toxic and dysfunctional! She would always say it was up to us kids to work it out..that it was between us, not her!

Yup! My mother always throws the rocks, then hides her hands. Triangulation is one of her best tools.

I literally just had a very rough conversation with my mother three days ago about this. I called her out on her behavior. I told her that she is creating the division between my brother and I and the reason that he and I are no longer in communication is through her doing. She didn’t say one word.

My sister was the Good child. I was the bad child. I was always told can’t you be more like your sister. & oh the verbal abuse was so mean ! No contact was the best I could do for ME .

I just laid on my bed one day with tears saying to myself she took everything away from me once she gets to your siblings all your nieces and nephews belong to her too she’ll use them to get to your children it’s so twisted confusing isolating I know all about it

I was made to parent at a very young age left alone w two much younger her siblings and when I disciplined as I saw her do I was then “disciplined” so not only used for free labor but abused when I did not know what or how to handle adult situations

my mom has always favored my brother. so when she mentioned about when she gets much older that we will all take care of her and I told her well my brother can take care of you she said she didn't just have one she had three and I said yes but my brother is your favorite so have him take care of you.😈

My sister beat me up so bad I had a seizure and was put to the hospital. The doctor asked why I had bruises on my face, my mom begged me to not tell the doctors what happened. I did, but the doctors didn’t care because my mother said I was a brat at home and deserved it. Ever since then I never depended on my mother nor my siblings

My mom literally tells her family not to talk to me and my aunts would tell me to keep it secret if we spoke. She definitely trained my brother to hate me too. I’ve never wronged any of them.

If u chose to go against yr sibling and watched yr parent torture yr sibling, then as adults it has to be talked out that u recognised the suffering. Both my sisters carried on the hate.
