Yes!! Two of my kids were diagnosed with cancer last year. Pick me ups definitely help. No need to update, enjoy the ice cream and take all the time needed to process everything.

When my dad was going through treatment, my mom made sure he always had treats ready to go! Pumpkin pie in July? Yes please! Special cookies she only makes for Easter? She’ll make them anytime he asks! She swore that that helped keep spirits high and his weight in a healthy range. Eat the ice cream for dinner!
