I agree with y'all. Even if Johnathan Majors didn't have any legal issues, Marvel dropped the ball with Kang. So either way, they had to pivot to a different villain

I agree with this take 💯 i HATE when ppl bring up kang loosing to antman. He wasnt really defeated. His suit was finished. & they were a army of TYPE 2 Civilization ants. Look up type 2. He still beat them in like 20mins lol

The switch from Kang to Doom was also facilitated by the complete lack of focus in the post Endgame phases. Had there been more cohesiveness in the storytelling I think Marvel would have had a much more difficult time just completely yanking Kang as the big bad of the multiverse phases. Personally I just can't wait for the multiverse arc to be over and done and am crossing fingers that the next arc will have a much more cohesive and engaging narrative structure.
