This is so helpful for brides. We had to reschedule our wedding after already paying our photographer in full. Communication completely stopped when I tried to finalize our new timeline for my venue, and my original 8 hours of coverage was reduced to 5 because it was her mom’s birthday. After waiting 3 1/2 weeks for a response, I requested to dissolve the contract. She gave me millions of excuses which included her cat stuck in a palm tree. A new contract was never created with our updated date or venue, the email on the contract wasn’t even mine, and one page had my Facebook name instead of my legal name. After losing trust in the situation, I decided to hire a new photographer even though it cost me a lot of money. Having wedding planners who know reliable vendors is truly priceless.♥️🙏🏼 I wish I knew.

This does not come across like shaming, this should be the standard for vendors! Communication is so important. Calls or meetings the week of the wedding is crazy!!!! So stressful 😩

I feel like you’re describing basic professional courtesy and it’s crazy people will own businesses, charge so much and refuse to do basic things for their customers
