@sinkingfather: Sunny Day Real Estate (SDRE) also known as Empty Set (1992-1995 1997-2001 2009-2013 2022-Present Seattle, WA ) -Pillars ( Live At Winston-Salem NC at Ziggys October 10 1998) Creds: KILLTHATCATofficial on YouTube “I’m not Emo” “Then why are you listening to Sunny Day Real Estate?” Sunny Day Real Estate i know they arent "midwest emo" but cmon everyone here should know the influence and how big they are still to this day in the scene the story of SDRE has been complicated and i have limited words so lets say that It has had its ups and downs with them breaking up multiple times and involves a lot of bands from bands they've influenced ( the Get Up kids, Dashbord Confessional etc. ) to bands their members have been in (foo fighters), one thing is clear they are legends, their sound can be labeled as grunge indie rock alternative rock, even post-hardcore but in my opinion they are the face of emo whether u like it or not, they have acomplished this great legacy with a considerable amount of albums (4) being the most iconic one Diary (1994) or How It Feels To Be Something On (1998), they have their fair share of singles and one Split with Circa Survive released in 2014 being their most recent release, i dont think this makes justice to the legacy of SDRE but i think it sums up pretty well the basics, but of course we cant leave without mentioning their amazing lyrics and vocals that are by far one of the most emotionals ever like Jeremy has a really beautiful voice and i think almost everyone can agree with me in that point, also the way they play giving it all and comfortable at the same time is magical, as always love to talk more about them but i have limited words If ur the artist or the person who made the video and want me to delete this feel free to say it Members (May be wrong): Dan Hoerner (1992 – present) Guitar Nate Mendel (1992-2014) Bass Jeremy Enigk (1993-Present) vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass William Goldsmith (1992 – present) drums, vocals Greg Suran (2022-Present) Guitar Chris Jordan (2022–present) Bass Joe Skyward (Rest In Peace) (1998-1999) bass, vocals #sunnydayrealestate#emo#emotionalhardcore#midwestemo#indierock
