I take creatine HCl. Monohydrate causes too much bloating for me. Also, if you use creatine, tell your healthcare provider because it will typically cause creatinine to be high in labs which is normal when taking creatine.

It takes yall an HOUR to drink 12 oz of water? Thats what I use for creatine at least and I kill it in like 3 minutes SINCE I make it a smoothie with my protein powder

There is no wrong way to take it, literally. You can take it any time of the day, even if you don't workout consistently, it's still good for you.

Wow, that's so good to know. I usually put it in my water bottle and drink it throughout the day so now I'll just put in a smaller cup and drink it with the hour thank you for that info looked it up as well was a little shocked. I always thought it was to drink within those 24 hours.

I looked it up and if you’re mixing with water and consuming within 3 hours, there’s negligible conversion. If you’re mixing with something less neutral ph, then ya sure maybe 5% will convert (as compared to maybe 1%) but nothing crazy to be worried about
