I don't understand why people from Southern Nigeria have been brainwashed into believing that El-Rufai is a bad person. His only perceived fault was the Muslim-Muslim ticket in Kaduna State, but it's important to remember that his first tenure was not characterized by this. People in Southern Kaduna dislike him because they believe he is a religious bigot, simply because he is a supporter of Buhari. This belief is rooted in the Christian community's fear that Buhari came to power to 'Islamize' the country, a notion that is completely false. El-Rufai is a nationalist and a very patriotic leader who is always with the masses, even though his decisions may sometimes be seen as harsh. I swear to God, El-Rufai has never harbored negative feelings towards the Christian community in Southern Kaduna or Nigeria at large. If you work with him, you will understand this.
