sidewall is actually a liability issue I always told ppl buy a used tire or Walmart tire its cheaper than were I used to work ive seen ppl try to repair sidewall and tire blew up when they put air in it shops that fix sidewalls literally are taking a chance at huge lawsuit if you leave and tire blows causing an accident they can be blamed for fixing it

And some states do not let you patch the sidewall or the very near the sidewall because it can blow out or something can happen. This is why they say get a new tire.

And after the hard screw has hit the pavement a few thousand tines it widens the hole and loosens up.. this is why mechanics don’t recommend it..😂😂

patching a sidewall is dangerous, its possible to have a blowout. good luck having one at 80 mph.

No shop will repair a sidewall because it's not safe. Once the sidewall has been compromised the tire is no good.
