@heylina2484: Here’s how I double cleanse step by step: 1️⃣ Start with DRY skin Apply cleansing oil onto a face with no water at all. This is important. Massage gently for 3–4 minutes. Don’t rush this part. As you massage, you might feel tiny grains coming out — that’s sebum and sebaceous filaments being loosened from your pores. ⚠️ If nothing comes out: • Try using a warm steam towel first to open up pores • Or avoid exfoliating for a few days, then try again Some skin types won’t visibly “purge” sebum — and that’s okay! 2️⃣ Emulsify (MOST IMPORTANT STEP) Add a little water and keep massaging until the oil turns milky. This is when the actual cleansing happens. If you skip proper emulsification, residue can stay behind. Rinse thoroughly with water. 3️⃣ Follow with a gentle cleanser Wash again with a water-based cleanser to remove all remaining oil, sunscreen, and debris. Why double cleansing works: ✔️ Deep pore cleansing ✔️ Removes excess sebum ✔️ Breaks down sunscreen & makeup fully ✔️ Helps reduce clogged pores and texture ✔️ Leaves skin clean but not stripped (if done correctly) But ⚠️ it’s not for everyone! If you have very sensitive, compromised, or over-exfoliated skin, double cleansing daily might be too much. Listen to your skin.
