@ukraine.ua: Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladyslav Heraskevych’s memory helmet shows the faces of Ukrainian athletes and coaches killed by Russia’s war. The International Olympic Committee has disqualified him for wearing it – undermining its own reputation. This decision is a shameful betrayal of Olympic values. More than 650 Ukrainian athletes and coaches have lost their lives because of Russia’s war. Remembering them is an act of dignity and courage. #ukraine #sport #olympics #winterolympics

They may all be athletes but a lot are just children! 💔 Bravest Olympian Warrior represented them all with his dedication and commitment. He’s the real gold medalist 🙏🏻

This video is important and should go viral. A true olympic athlete with values!

Gwynn :

Rules are rules. I am sympathetic to his desire to honor those that lost their lives but one exception makes it no longer a rule. I wish he would have announced that he was competing in their honor. Not competing accomplishes nothing.

And he got disqualified for this? This world is rotten.

Tanу_iam :

Oh yes, if you came in sport to be treated by everyone is ok. But if you come to compete, than sport is out of politics 😏
