I see alot of ppl here missed the point of the post which is the smaller the amount the louder the client. Which means they consume more of your time and energy that does not justify or pay you for your services. Which means you come out at a loss, the bigger clients give you greater rewards without wasting time and energy

I have an Airbnb house and this is so accurate. In high price season no one complains but low price season they complain the smallest issue they find. So if I get complains the price is too low.

Absolutely true in my experience I own an appliance repair shop. The people with the $500 machine complain way more than the people with the $60,000 machine I have priced myself out of getting cheap customers that’s the only way to do it.

Yes! I have clients that call once a year and pay $150-$250 for service and they are the most work and the a client who pays $10k every few months are the ones that are super nice and friendly.

Bro, its usually because the smaller check are for folks using their own money for their own purpose, while the bigger checks are for company business where there is nothing personal and you will have funds, power and will to sue for compliance.

As a custom Home Builder, you are correct. I’m doing one now and I cut the budget all the way down to 450 K with very little profit involved. They are the biggest pain in the ass. I’ve got another job that is 650 K for a house the same sizehe lives in Utah and I have hardly heard a word from him.
