They have tried to create "successors" for AB and his show style but they come off boring or performative (Tucci is a great eexample - zzzzzz...and Gordon - too much). I would actually watch David. Not saying he would be "like" AB but he would be a heck of a lot more interesting and authentic tthan the others they are putting forward in my opinion.
