@panglossblue: maple was pregnant when we found her like this. she has escaped a farm with her partner and gotten lost on the highway. multiple cars hit her partner... people kept driving and he was left sitting in the middle of the highway. she ran and hid in the woods and then showed up in a neighborhood. her partner was killed. a group of men saw Maple, chased her, beat her with sticks and tied her up. then they threw her in the back of their work trailer. she miscarried... and went into a deep depression.... we rescued the two babies from a factory farm and tried to see if she would adopt them and she did. she chose to open her heart and love those two piglets. this is all very new... all of the comments making jokes about eating Maple is insane... She has been through so much. she is amazing. 💔😩😭
