"The limping captain" is the working title for new character I make for my worldbuilding side project. He is a horse artilery captain and his limp is from injiry he sustained while working on lighter more mobile cannons (one of them exploded during tests)

my book is written in 2 povs. the first mc gets shown as selfish and stubborn. while the second mc gets shown as jelous and rude. and duo to the povs they change and it changes how they're shown.
