grow out a bit, shampoo 1-2 times a week, condition every day, and use leave in conditioner, don’t comb it. your hair is curly.

I used to have hair like yours. Turns out i actually had curly hair. Try looking up curly-cuts and products for curly hair see if it does anything.

I’ve been doing mousse + curly hair smoothie product. I’ve figured out that if I put in 2x more of the smoothie product + drink lots of water, it’s stays hydrated throughout the day and doesn’t frizz

I recommend growing it out a little more and using leave-in conditioner to style in whichever direction feels right. In the process of growing mine back out after buzzing it for a year

i have similar hair, the shorter it is the more poofy it is. i grew mine out it’s about shoulder length. it’s difficult to maintain but the only thing that’s helped me feel good about my hair has been growing it out and never cutting it

We have the same hair type, I grew mine out. Went with a middle part and use leave in conditioner and it comes out pretty good and last most of the day until the poof and frizz takes over
