What we need: stratified RCTs by formulation type and race, powered to detect differences, not just detect average effects. Stop treating OCPs and menopausal HT as interchangeable hormone exposures. The commentary authors acknowledged the analysis was underpowered for formulation subgroups. That's not a limitation to note and move past. That's a research mandate.
