She is best known for not reporting her child missing for 31 days because she was too busy living her best life (and entering "Hot Body" contests). The Highlights of the Absurd: • The Universal Studios Hallucination: She led police on a tour of Universal Studios, claiming she had an office there. She walked them down hallways, waved at random employees, and stalled until the very last second before admitting, " just kidding, I haven't worked here in years." • Zanny the Nanny: She invented a nanny named Zenaida "Zanny" Fernandez-Gonzalez to blame for the kidnapping. "Zanny" turned out to be as real as the Tooth Fairy, though many pointed out that "Zanny" sounded suspiciously like a nickname for Xanax. • The Verdict: The jury acquitted her of murder, stunning the entire planet. She was, however, convicted of lying to the police, which was the only part of the story everyone could agree on. • The "Rebrand": In a twist that nobody asked for, Casey is now on TikTok trying to position herself as a "Legal Advocate." I guess when you need advice on how to get away with murder (allegedly) then she would be the leading expert.
