@cat_hart_maternity: Part 2 Learn about my injury’s I broke 39 bones, and have lots of metal keeping everything together. Learn where I am in my recovery 3 months on. I’m here to raise awareness of post partum psychosis. #givebloodsavelives #postpartumpsychosis #traumarecovery #postnatalpsychosis #newmum
with PP psychosis, just it just suddenly 'disappear' once something happens, so in your case your brain made you do the worst and afterwards, is it just recovery? I dont really know how to word it, i hope it doesnt come across as ignorant im just trying to learn! 🫶🏽 I wish you a speedy recovery 🫶🏽

It’s tragic that it had to come to this, all because the professionals didn’t help you in the weeks after the birth. You are doing so well and very strong xx

Your resilience is unreal 🫶 trauma recovery + postpartum is so heavy. After my baby I dealt with mood swings, bloat, zero steady energy and felt like my body wasn’t mine. I kept pushing through and felt stuck. A friend told me to read Eat Like a Woman Protocol written by Loren Green and it helped me feel grounded again. 30 lbs down, digestion smooth, mood way more stable. kinda wild how much physical and emotional healing are connected.

What an awful situation to be in, what should have been a lovely bonding time with your baby has turned into a terrible situation. So sad for you and your family, hopefully things will continue to improve for you. It highlights the need for better care in mental health ❤️

I hope you’re getting all the support you need now, both for your physical and your mental health. And that includes them looking out for traumatic stress symptoms: people who have been in the ICU are much more at risk of developing PTSD. X

Many years ago I worked as a young MH nurse on a unit for women with postpartum psychosis and my God what an eye opener. Those poor women. What you went through and they did is horrendous. Many years later as a mum myself I experienced ante-natal depression really and that was awful but nowhere near the horror of this. Hope you are ok. You will be ❤️
