This is why I love pens! It’s 100% subjective, cause my Sailors are my favorite fountain pens to write with. Same with my pilot custom 742 in extra fine (I have the posting nib too, like EF better). It’s just so much fun to play around and figure out what you want in a pen and ink ❤️

I used to love my Kakuno so much. But ever since having to change the cartridge it’s become hell. Idk if it’s me or what but it constantly skips, drags, leaks, and takes forever to dry.

hi, fp lover here! sailor nibs are known for having "feedback" which is supposed to mimic tje feeling you get when writing with pencil - always feelings exactly where the tip is on the paper. they're very different from other Japanese brand, like pilot that usually is super smooth! it's definitely different from a real pen, scratchy pens almost feel like you're pulling the paper with the nib. maybe feedback isn't your cup of tea and pilots/platinums will give you a more enjoyable writing experience 😊
