Whipped bone marrow for babies 👶🏻 This was so much easier to make than I thought it would be, and it’s so great knowing my baby is getting extra nutrient dense foods. I got my bones from Sprouts meat freezer section. They are Grass Run Farms 100% grass fed beef marrow bones. Directions: - Roast bones (from frozen) 425 degrees for 20-30 minutes depending on size. Just enough to make sure there no pink inside - Remove marrow from bones and place in fridge to cool approx 30+ minutes - Use a handheld or stand mixer to whip cooled marrow on medium high speed until smooth and combined thoroughly, until a light whipped texture - Separate in containers and fridge or freeze as needed You can feed the baby marrow directly but my favorite way to do it is added on top of some warmed puree to help soften it (since it gets hardened once it’s been in the fridge) Also, I have seen some comments on other videos from moms saying how this had caused some constipation issues with their babe, and others responded by saying that it needs to be served with a fiber to help prevent that from happening. So keep that in mind when starting your baby on bone marrow!
