every animal normally freaks out the moment being picked up due to realising that what's holding it could be a predator (in the wild it would be a predator) and feral animals normally have that instinct in tact

i got to touch a 2 toed sloth at a zoo before! we randomly got chosen by the worker that was observing my husband & i with the other animals and said that we were really cautious of their space & emotions so that’s why they chose us! and we got to do it for free instead of paying since we got picked! i LOVE sloths too, they’re my favorite animals 🥰

They also look pretty heavy for picking up maybe they’re not as heavy as they look but the visual of seeing how big moe is I feel like it might be a bit of workout to pick them up and hold them like babies

I went on a cruise to Mexico and actually did an excursion where we got to see sloths and these ones were very okay with humans as soon as they were put on us they gave us hugs I would definitely do that again! ❤️
