Diesel fuel in fact will ignite once hot enough. I operated and ran a dyno for high horsepower frack diesel engines and mechanical mining engines for years. Diesel has a point where it will ignite once hot enough

where tf does this idea that diesel doesn't burn?! my space heater in my garage runs off diesel, that's what we use to start bonfires because it burns slower than gasoline.

go to several local pool stores. get muriatic acid and a blue plastic drum. let sit for 1 month. flush and repeat. everything will be gone 👍 😉
