#Leylah & #Senadina — guess who is free from exams?? RAAAAAAAAH (no one posts cgs on youtube anymore so all i have is this bad quality one 😔 this is bothering me SO MUCH but i wanted to use it so...) ANYWAYS, have y'all seen the twitter discussions abt Senadina?? i love how the pt2 community on twt decided to enter in analyses and debates mode, it's SO interesting as said previously, i don't mind her being an abvser as long as the story acknowledges it. there's a fine line between an apologia of a certain behavior and using it as a plot device. Vita does denounce Senadina's behavior as being a terrible one so I'm hopeful. their dialogue at the cocoon was SO interesting and i can't wait to see what the undertaker talk was all abt anyways, i could initially sympathize with Senadina (despite her making Leylah suffer) bc she, herself, suffered a lot. but ugh... she's genuinely insufferable 😭 she gives me the ick, her discussion with Vita is what sealed the deal for me but even her discussions with Leylah were... UGH. and if the intent was to make her a narcissist, it's really well done bc they got it right on many accounts the way she guilt trips Leylah into acting certain ways, for her own amusement, without taking into account how it actually affects Leylah. and the way she's dropping all her hopes for the future on Leylah while saying things like

UGH. and if the intent was to make her a narcissist, it's really well done bc they got it right on many accounts the way she guilt trips Leylah into acting certain ways, for her own amusement, without taking into account how it actually affects Leylah. and the way she's dropping all her hopes for the future on Leylah while saying things like "i don't wanna burden her"/"i care for her happiness" (girl...). as Vita said: "you didn't even leave her the right to say: «I can't»" (you'll always be iconic Vita) the fact that she went from a princess to a god seriously doesn't help bc the way peoples elevate her and admire her feeds into her narcissism Senadina also undermines the importance of Leylah's issues, she's so self centered that she fails to take seriously the issues ppl around her are facing. and it's very funny to see how wrong it went, her behavior backfired spectacularly. now everyone depends on her and at what cost? Mars itself it could be why she failed the cocoon's trial too, she's not true to herself at all and doesn't wanna face her failings. she always says things like "I'm not perfect" but then it waters down to ALL humans not being perfect and she ultimately does nothing abt her issues. same with her ambitions, she knows she can't "fix" Mars but keeps telling herself she's doing her best (she's not, as demonstrated with the Youyun centered chapter). being a martyr is the best she can do, atleast that's what she's telling herself, but that's just bs and we know it I'm seriously wondering what they're trying to do with Senadina here tho. what will all of this ultimately lead to? I'm very critical of her but there's potential for her to be a really good character. how she's written is good but how she's perceived by others is more important. if the way she's perceived doesn't change, it won't just be her writing that's gonna be affected, the narrative as a whole is gonna take a hit. you can't make me believe Leylah is the only problem here. and i don't want a Mary Sue who can do no wrongs, thank you very much but anyways, what do y'all think abt Senadina? maybe you don't read her as a narcissist and i'm the only one who thinks that lmao. my opinion comes from my own experience with a narcissist and i can't help but notice those similarities (+more that i didn't add bc of limited space) and ofc, i didn't add any nuance here but things aren't manichean. her circumstances explain a lot of things she does and Senadina being a narcissist/having narcissistic tendencies doesn't make her evil. in fact, she doesn't have malicious intents AT ALL, but she undeniably hurts the ppl around her. actions (and their consequences) matter more than intents on an unrelated note, i might quit playing hi3. as in, i'll continue reading the story on yt but won't actually play the game (so no worries, i'm not stopping hi3 edits yet, maybe i should've started with that lmao) #honkaiimpact3rdedit #fyppppppp #viral
