Steak Tartare 🥩 I’ve cooked thousands of steaks only to realise one of the best steak dishes doesn’t require any cooking at all 😮 This is one of those dishes that looks way fancier & harder to make than it actually is 😂 Full recipe below ⬇️ - 200g beef fillet, diced - 1 tbsp parsley, chopped - 1 small shallot, finely diced - 3-4 pickles, diced (or 1 dill pickle) - 1 tbsp capers, chopped - 1-2 anchovies - 1 tsp worcestershire sauce - 1.5 tsp dijon mustard - hot sauce if you like it spicy - 2 egg yolk - salt to taste - chives, chopped 1. Slice & dice the beef fillet into very small pieces - the smaller the better 2. Do the same with the parsley, shallot, pickles, cappers & anchovies 3. Combine all the ingredients in a small bowl / plate along with the worcestershire sauce, dijon mustard & a raw egg yolk 4. Thinly slice potato chips (use a mandolin) for the best results 5. Submerge the chips in cold water for a few minutes to remove excess starch then dry them completely 6. Fry them in beef tallow at 180c / 350f til crispy & golden Season with salt 7. Plate the beef tartare onto a plate - garish with more raw egg yolks, salt & chopped chives
