as a brand owner that makes decent cash flow now, this is completely uneccessary. 90% of people should NOT get close to your manu, strictly bussiness and do not become friendly with them. Always have multiple backup manus and constantly find new ones with better prices. do not tell them about what you do who you are etc, just lie and tell them what they wanna hear and get the best prices for your bulk

I just got back from modeling in China for three months and I can confirm he’s absolutely right!! So many models end up starting their own apparel brands because you learn so much. Even just being in China and fully immersing yourself in the industry teaches you things you would never learn anywhere else.
