@euanthecooper: Annie Edson Taylor went down Niagara Falls in a cask… insane. She did it on her 63rd birthday but told everyone she was 40 so a lot of people doubted her claims but it is indeed true, and she is the first person to successfully survive going down Niagara Falls. There was padding and such in the cask it wasn't just bare wood on the inside but still an unbelievable story. Weird thing to lie about though as it's actually more impressive doing it 63.
