A homeowner hid and called 911 after hearing a crash and spotting an unknown man inside the house, but the suspect fled before deputies arrived. Authorities later learned the same individual had attempted to enter several nearby homes. The suspect, identified as 28-year-old Jonathan Francisco Riofrio, was eventually located and arrested. He was booked into the Washoe County Detention Facility on felony home invasion and attempted home invasion charges, along with additional offenses including possession of burglary tools and trespassing.
