Coming from a donor family, there’s protocol to follow. You can’t just find the family. If the donor family agrees with any communication from the recipient, it starts with a letter after time. A lot of emotions and grief with this so be very sensitive. Take care of that liver!

I had to stay within an hour of my transplant clinic for 6 weeks due to the three time a week labs, and in case an emergency happened. 😪

So happy for you! Looking wonderful! My brother was a donor and we got a thank you letter a year after he passed.❤️I think they made you wait a year, was proud of my brother making someone else’s like better. ❤️

My dad died of a heart attack and was a donor. The following year as his next of kin I got a thank you letter from a beautiful family that received his liver for their son and it had pictures and I know my dad would have been happy to see it helped others. I hope you try and take care of this and please calm down on your posts of all your up and downs because it’s coming off negative even if you don’t mean to. Heal then talk would be the best support to yourself and others
