@reformedacres: The first thing I didn't like about having chickens was cleaning the coop. Chickens poop soooooo much during the night while they sleep, so when it was time to build a new coop, I knew that I wanted manure management to be much easier. We decided to go with a moveable coop (chicken tractor) to solve the problem. Every two days (or so) I move the coop, and this cuts out any cleaning of the coop floor I would need to do with a traditional coop. Now, it's just refreshing pine shavings, straw, or mulch in the nesting boxes (as needed) + moving the coop...and voila, "cleaning" is done! 👏🏻 If you want to build a moveable coop like this for your own flock, comment CHICKEN TRACTOR, and I'll send you the info for the plans 🐔😊 . . #freerangechickens #chickencoop #chickentractor #homesteading #backyardchickens
