Dear Gen Z and All Nepalese,
You are entitled to your own opinions and political beliefs. However, it is important to acknowledge the role played by the CPN (Maoist), which raised its voice for the majority of oppressed and marginalised people. It led the struggle against an autocratic monarchy and a corrupt, centralised system, and played a key role in establishing the Democratic Republic of Nepal.
The CPN (Maoist) ensured proportional representation in Parliament for historically suppressed communities, including various ethnic groups like Newar, Rai, Limbu, Gurung, Magar and Tamang, Dalits, Muslims, and other minorities. It also institutionalised at least 33 percent representation for women in all state structures, including Parliament, marking a significant step toward gender equality.
Not long ago, Nepal endured up to 18 hours of daily load shedding. Under a Prachanda led government, with the leadership of Kulman Ghising, this prolonged period of darkness came to an end, transforming the country’s energy situation. The Maoist vision also introduced federalism, shifting Nepal away from centralised governance to a decentralised system that empowered local governments with greater authority and larger budgets.
As a result, people no longer need to travel to Kathmandu for basic administrative services. Documents can now be issued and renewed through local governments such as municipalities and rural councils. Leaders like Harka Sampang, Balen Shah, Gopi Hamal, Renu Dahal, and Ravi Lamichhane are products of the democratic space created through these reforms.
Now is the time to unite, support the Communist Party of Nepal, and vote for the “Red Star” in the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Nepal ra Nepali ko sada jaya hos !! 🇳🇵❤️🙏
Vote for Rato Tara !!
