mood everyone was so exited to meet my son when he was born now that he is a toddler everyone disappeared... same people found out im pregnant again and cant wait to meet this baby but it just makes me said for my toddler😭

It’s crazy how everyone is obsessed with the NB stage which is when I needed the most privacy and bonding time with my baby. Then once I’ve adjusted and I’m ready for visitors and no one even calls.

I had one girl who was there for me during my pregnancy and now while I'm post partum. but my daughter is only 2 weeks and everyone wants pics, even though they didn't check on me, the one girl who checked on me gets pics every day😂 she's my daughters auntie, just not by blood but by love🥰

I feel so bad cause I don’t like being around babies (I get hella bad anxiety cause I don’t know how to properly care for them) but as soon as the can start walking, talking, etc then then I’m all for it cause they can tell me what they want or need or if something’s wrong. My friends tell me they like it that way but I still feel bad that I’m not as supportive and involved as I should be when they are tiny… I guess I’m at least filling the role when all the family bounces as soon as they are older but still.

For me I had a lot of people checking in on me while I was pregnant. People i barely talked to before wanted nothing to do with me until I announced my pregnancy, then congratulated me and tried planning to see her but I wasn’t having anything to do with it. But I agree! People are obsessed with the baby but once they get older these people disappear🤷🏻♀️It’s kinda weird behaviour tbh
