He has also defended Michael Jackson, saying that in his experience, Jackson was kind and protective of children. Macaulay Culkin and Aaron Carter have said similar things — that in their personal time around him, they never experienced abuse and saw him as gentle and caring. At the same time, Feldman and others have claimed there are powerful forces in the industry that protect predators and silence victims. That’s what makes people uneasy.
