A few plugs like NGK would have great spark when laid on head but when they were in the combustion chamber they loose spark under compression

I’ve yet to see a plug that was flat out dead… I’ve seen fouled, weak spark, even cracked porcelain but never a straight dead plug. It’s cool don’t get me wrong but I just don’t see it as really being practical for diag…plus plugs are cheap so you’d replace them anyway if you had any suspicions anyway lol. Honest opinion
