Wrong… emotional intelligence is knowing when not to talk. Forcing a resolution on the spot often ignores 'emotional flooding,' where logic is hijacked by stress.

Emotionally mature people will not talk immediately. They will acknowledge the problem immediately, but will take a breath or say a prayer before talking so emotions don't get high. That's the way conflict gets resolved instead of created. It also gives you time to think about the other person's feelings so you can see things from their perspective. May you find peace in all your relationship interactions.
