Because sex work in Sweden is illegal it has led to that men who buy sex goes to Thailand to buy it instead. It so common that's in a common joke in the media. There even is a huge problem in Sweden with thai massages use human trafficking, so men can easily buy sex. Last year the newspaper reported Göteborgs Posten that the police informed that 8/10 Thai massages in Gothenburg (Swedens largest city) has illegal brotherl, with trafficked women. Theses laws just leads to more human trafficking and unsafety for people that choose to work as sex workers

This is a very interesting perspective that I have not heard before. I live in Sweden and the laws here are described as being for the workers safety and I've never heard this perspective brought up before.

well since most s*xworkers aren't doing it because they want to but because they have to (which basically means they are getting 🍇ed on a daily basis), I'm willing to force the ones that do it voluntarily into other jobs if that is the only practical solution for the others. sorry not sorry.

men should never ever feel entitled to s exploit a woman who 99% of the times is in a very vulnerable position due to mental health and/or poverty. there's something very wrong with them feeling comfortable in having s with someone who would never ever have consented if they weren't in a vulnerable position. Nordic model is the best however it needs to be enforced properly!
