In German if you translate it, it would be 15 o'clock. So we actually do say 15, but not 15-hundred and we don't call it military time.

24 hour time only really became a thing here back in the early 80s all thanks to the video recorder cause they used 24hr clock for programming a recording of tv

Yeah, we also automatically convert it to regular time, so if someone asks the time we look at our watch that reads 20:40 and we’d answer 8:40 or even twenty to 9, but we’d never really say 20:40.

Swedes we often use 24h format when speaking if it’s the full hour. We would for example say “see you at 17”.

we also write am/ pm in the UK too but some systems use 24hr clock.
