yep. my husband does the same and he prefers to stay on our property. he served 99-2015. I used to miss him going places but now its not worth his stress.

My husband is the same way. He deployed 6x and he doesn’t like noises behind him (or loud unexpected noises) and has to know who or what is around him at all times.

My brothers dad was a vet. We went to spend the night with him and we woke up to hearing him speak Vietnamese. My brother whispered to me to stay still... you bet I did. His dad was an amazing man. I miss him so much and wish he was still here. 🥰 My first experience with a vet.

my dad is also a vet and one time we were sitting next to a window so naturally, when a car ir person went by, we both would turn our head to look then get back to the conversation. my older sister was telling us a story and caught on but didn't know it was just us reacting to peripheral movement and started yelling "what do you 2 keep looking at?" looking out of the window but the car was already gone. dad & I just looked at each other and laughed 🤣
