The book writer himself said that he didn’t want much involvement with the show, and that he wanted the writers to have artistic freedom with his characters. Plus, rather than the laborious rants that Geralt goes off on a lot in the books, Henry chose to do more grunts than dialogue, which aligns closer to the games. I’m not saying it’s a bad acting adaptation, but it feels weird that he uses “book accuracy” as cover for changing a writer’s dialogue during filming.

genuinely the concept of tv writers makes no sense. just do your job and adapt the books for tv, we want to watch the witcher, not some half baked show with shitty ideas, take fallout for example , its not hard to just be faithful to the source material
